If you might consider such an experience, perhaps you'd like to know about two great condominiums in Steamboat Springs? They are for rent on a short-term or annual basis (just in case you fall in love and can't bear to leave). The property in town is Residences at Old Town; 3 bedrooms and 2 baths with off-street parking. The main downtown area is such fun and living here makes everything just a short stroll away. When I say "everything" that includes an ice skating rink, rodeo arena, hot springs, river tubing, shopping, museums, restaurants, galaries, even the FREE shuttle bus which will take you to the mountain base. Steamboat is great fun!

The other condo, at Storm Meadows, is a 2/2 up on the mountain. From here you can watch hot air balloons drift along the Yampa River and see the mountain bikers bouncing along the same terrain which is filled with snow-boarders and skiers during the winter.

Either of these properties will immerse you in the feeling of mountain and Western life.

Steamboat Springs still has real cowboys and cowgirls coming into town. There are working ranches here that have generational ownership. It is an amazing place surrounded by natural and man-made beauty in every direction.
