If you happen to be boating on the Marco River headed east and come into the Goodland area, there's a new Collier County park which just opened. 5.22 acres with 22 wet boat slips and place to park 75 boat trailers. There is a ship's store and a super picnic pavilion. The hours are 7 a.m. to sunset, 7 days a week. Do enjoy this new jewel and you may want to check out the "colorful" eateries and delicious food in Goodland. You may have to tie up for a while - there's quite an assortment for such a tiny little village!
